County Fair has OFFICIALLY released our first single!!!

A friend told me last night that it loops perfectly on repeat... so I'm taking that as a sign that you should head to your favorite streaming service, look up "Take My Gold - County Fair," and hit that repeat button for us. ;)

We wrote this song in Max's Honda Civic on the way to a songwriting retreat in the fall of 2025. I was driving while he sat in the passenger seat playing a tiny rubber bridge guitar, and we spent the drive tossing lyrics back and forth, giggling the whole way.

Halfway through we stopped for some mediocre Mexican food in the middle of nowhere Tennessee, climbed back into the car, and finished building this little melody into a story.

And now...

It's yours.

A Little Update

Wow, y'all.

I honestly can't believe it.

We dreamed up County Fair in October of 2025, introduced the project to y'all that December, and here we are, not even seven months later, with our very first song out in the world.

Being a musician is such a strange life.

You're constantly trying to balance the business side of things while protecting enough space to stay creative. It's chaotic, exhausting, and somehow incredibly rewarding all at once.

I've been saying, "I'm trusting the universe," a lot lately. Max is probably tired of hearing it...

...but I think it might actually be working.

Sunny Update 🚐

Our motorhome, Sunny, is finally(not quite lol) starting to look like a real home.

We have a brand new roof, new fiberglass is going on tomorrow morning, and she's almost completely waterproof and officially free of water damage.

Now comes the fun part...

Actually building the inside.

We're on a bit of a ridiculous time crunch because we're hoping to be living in Sunny full-time by August 12th. At the moment, she doesn't even have walls yet.

Meanwhile, Max is working full-time, and I'm spending every spare second booking shows all over the country.

Life feels beautifully unhinged right now.

As you can probably imagine, life is absolutely wild right now. We're working hard, saving every penny we can, finishing Sunny, and getting ourselves out on the road so we can finally play these songs for you in person.
