MOTORHOME!!!!!!

Day one of buying this Motorhome was a LITTLE nerve wracking to say the least..

This has been a dream of ours to live on the road for a while now, but our budget wasnt friendly to a new one- so we put a lot of trust in two things: that this engine will run, and that we will be able to fix up the home ourselves. And we are trying our best on that second one! LOL

We got this Class C for $6,000 off FB marketplace:

It's a 2004 27ft Sunseeker- Everything works, she runs well! 86,000 miles- I (sav) drove her home from about 2 hrs away AND managed to back it in with about 2 inch of clearance on both sides of our driveway. My dad would be proud.

There was some obvious water damage on the front and left side- and we expected to find more (which we have) so we are fully in demo season with her!

OH and her name is Sunny 🌞.

Progress is being made, but as you can see from our previous post, our goal is extremely ambitious, to say the least. We are trying to have Sunny ready to move into by July 28th so we can leave our house and hit the road by August 13th...

My idealistic and dreamer side believes it can happen... but Jordan, our experienced builder bestie, and Max are keeping me grounded.

As part of this dream, selling Clifford, my big red van, is essential. Max is stepping up this season by continuing his job while I focus full-time on the motorhome, booking gigs, and releasing the County Fair and Savs albums.

Due to the uncertainty of renovation costs and the timeline for when we can leave our Nashville rental to eliminate rent expenses, we are selling many of our belongings to support this adventure!

Clifford was my first major purchase as an adult, serving as my initial nomadic tour bus and home on wheels for adventures since 2017. I'm sad to see him go, but it feels appropriate that he's being sold to a friend in the same year we commit to Sunny!

So, with the $6,000 from the sale of Clifford, we'll finally start seeing some real progress on the motorhome. But consider this a cry for help from a chronically ambitious, mildly delusional, deeply quixotic soul: if you know anyone in Nashville who'd be willing to lend a hand, I'd be forever grateful. 🤍
